During my tenure at the Port, we have earned several awards and completed several projects.
- Received the “National Marina of the Year” award
- Received the Presidents “E” award for export services
- “Port of the Year” award for Washington State
- Earned the top “Lighthouse Award” for the second year in a row by the American Association of Port Authorities
- Acquired the former Kimberly-Clark mill site
- Completion of the 57 million dollar international shipping terminal
- Provided waterfront housing for the first time, 266 units
- New Mukilteo Fishing Pier and guest dock
- Completed several “Waterfront Place” mixed-use projects
- Opened new Mukilteo “parklet” and adjacent parking
- Restored 350+ acres of salmon habitat at the port’s “Blue Heron” slough
